At monolith we understand that order processing, quotation, and invoicing can be unique for each business partner so we have decided to create this page to explain what our order processing looks like. You can find the details for those processes below:


When I place my order online, what is the order process?

Upon adding items to cart on monolithgroup.ca and proceeding through checkout, you will have the option to choose multiple shipping addresses as well as payment method before completing your order. Once both elements are selected and “placed order” button is clicked, your order becomes processed and you are presented with a order success message and order number. Keep this order number as this is your monolith online order number for reference.

Once that order number is generated, Monolith’s online system reviews, processes and invoices that order on your behalf. That invoice number is directly tied to your order number, and is referenced to Monolith as a placed order that has payment applied. Once payment has been applied, you will receive an e-mail referencing the invoice number (as well as your online order number). After the invoice has been mailed to you, the order processing is complete.

Following order processing will be the preparation, packaging, and shipping of your order. Once your order ships, we will follow up with you with tracking information by e-mail.

Finally, you will also be able to review your online order information through your My Account Page on Monolithgroup.ca.


When I place my order with an Account Rep, what is the order process?

Account reps at Monolith have the ability to create quotations and invoices on your behalf. This differs from the online process as online orders are not created by your account representative and you will not receive automatic order notification. Quotations and Invoices created by your account rep will be sent to you directly through e-mail. Order processing by an account representative happens verbally through phone or electronically via e-mail and credit card authorization forms. From this point forward, all order communication happens through your account representative directly.


Can I see my Account Representative Placed orders through my monolithgroup.ca online account portal?

Unfortunately, as of this time, manual order processing done by an account representative will not appear in your my monolithgroup.ca online portal. This functionality is currently under development and will be added in the near future.
